Please mark your calendar to attend the public meeting on February 23rd to kick off the tri-county regional drainage study (see attached flyer). The tri-county effort, led by Nueces County, includes Jim Wells and Kleberg Counties, as well as the City of Driscoll and Nueces County Drainage District No. 2.
Nueces County recently received grant funding through the Texas Water Development Board Flood Infrastructure Fund Program to conduct this regional study, the first of its kind for the basin. This regional study will involve studying and developing hydrology/hydraulic computer models of the entire Baffin Bay and South Corpus Christi Bay watersheds, as well as identifying potential flood mitigation solutions.
Thank you for your participation in this important regional flood planning effort. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming meeting!
