Our Vision Statement
The Emergency Management is charged to reduce loss, protect infrastructure, and support the environment from all hazards. Developing resilience to all stakeholders leading and supporting a comprehensive, risk-based emergency management program of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
Our Mission Statement
Emergency management responds to the community needs in pre-disasters through post disasters and emergencies situations, through coordination and integration response and recovery assets. Through the Emergency Operations Center, the Nueces County Emergency Management department works with county stakeholders to evaluate, understand, plan, and prepare for the unexpected while teaming with neighboring communities, departments, volunteer organizations.
