Biography

Constable Jimmy Rivera is dedicated to protecting all the citizens of Nueces County, including the areas surrounding Nueces County. Even though Constable Rivera strongly believes in Community Based Policing, Constable Rivera leads his department in traditional patrol methods and traditional policing. These is done in order to better protect and serve the citizens of this community.

Description of Office

• Serves as a licensed peace officer and performs various law enforcement functions, including issuing traffic citations.
• Serves warrants and civil papers such as subpoenas and temporary restraining orders.
• Serves as bailiff for Justice of the Peace Court.
