What is "Thank A Veteran"?

Nueces County Clerk, Kara Sands, is proud to sponsor a program to honor our local veterans. The Nueces County Clerk’s "Thank A Vet" program is a partnership with local merchants to show our appreciation to those men and women who have bravely served our Country. When veterans file their DD-214 discharge papers in the County Clerk’s office they will be provided with a free ID card* that will allow them to receive discounts with participating businesses.
