Fair Housing Information

Housing discrimination based on your race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability is illegal by federal law. If you have been trying to buy or rent a home or apartment and you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a fair housing complaint.

If you would like to file a formal complaint, please follow the instructions below:

1. If you live in Corpus Christi, call the Corpus Christi Human Relations office at 361-826-3190.
2. If you live outside of Corpus Christi there are several ways to file a fair housing complaint:
   1. Call 1-800-669-9777, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
   2. File a complaint now be using the online form.
