The Intensive Supervision Program is a probation supervision model used for repeat felony offenders. This program can include daily contact with the Probation Officer. It may also require electronic/GPS Monitoring. ISP Officers have smaller caseloads to accommodate the frequency of contact. Review Hearings with the Juvenile Court are held to review the behavior of juveniles while under this level of supervision. The Nueces County Juvenile Department also employs ISP Officers to specifically supervise "female only", "out-of-home" placement and "sex offender" caseloads.
