Behavior Health Center of Nueces County is available for residents who struggle with mental illness. Residents may request to meet with the juvenile department’s Mental Health Supervisor to discuss current issues and symptomology indicating further evaluation by a psychiatrist. Behavior Health Center of Nueces County staff is on-call 24 hours per day. If called, they can assess and make recommendations for the supervision of any resident who states they have thoughts of committing suicide or self-harm.
