The Robert N. Barnes Regional Juvenile Facility is a structured residential therapeutic alternative to chronic habitual offenders to include offenders in need of treatment for substance abuse and female offenders with complex trauma issues. The goals of the Robert N. Barnes Regional Juvenile Facility include:

• To provide an alternative placement for adjudicated youths through community-based correctional program
• To provide a safe and secure environment for the youths in the facility
• To promote positive lifestyle changes and law abiding behaviors through youth participation
• To reintegrate youth offenders into society
